A Picture, I Wish to Paint…
I wished to paint a perfect picture of my life
But only dents in the paint, I saw,
Furiously, I questioned
‘Why my picture – isn’t so pretty?’,
‘Baroque I wished to paint’
‘But messy it always gets’,
‘Why life is so unfair to me!?!’
Sad, disheartened I gazed around,
I saw, the butterfly elegantly wore black spots on its wings
The tallest trees, bowed down to bear – the reap of its fruit,
Appealing Nature had its own flaws and faults
Still all were Nature’s precious – its very own,
With a new insight I looked at my picture once again
And comely – it looked!
